The Training Division of the LCFD is dedicated to providing the best possible training resources and education to our members. With our dedicated staff of instructors and a standardized training regimen, we can provide the best possible and most professional response personnel when it matters most. As a part of our training program, the LCFD provides on an annual basis to its members’ training in the following areas,
- Basic Firefighter Training (Rookie School)
- Apparatus Driver/Pump Operator
- Vehicle Extrication and Rescue
- Fire Officer (Supervisor Training)
Along with these courses, the LCFD provides regular training that covers a wide array of topics. The LCFD is always looking for new areas and possibilities to expand our training opportunities.
